This is an excerpt of a letter submitted by a landowner opposing KIP’s application and cites another example of how this developer operates by going ahead without permits until getting caught and then counting on being allowed to continue with zero consequences. Don’t forget about turning the 27 contaminated acres back to the province violating the MDA and then claimed KIP was in compliance. Here’s the video referred to in this part of the letter. Look at all those steep slopes cleared – never mind within 7.5 metre of a steep slope. This wasn’t an oversight since the developer applied for a steep slope permit for the land northeast of Washer Creek – guess KIP figured they wouldn’t get away with it there. Slimy tactics.

From the same letter to the editor claiming no one complained before – ya, people probably thought a developer wouldn’t do things without a permit – now we know this developer needs to be watched very closely as permits appear to be optional. Any steep slope permits applied for?

Since 2007, KIP has been clearing land within the development. Every step of the way this debris has been burned under permit and a watchful eye. To date, not one complaint has ever been lodged with any level of government.

Kensington Island Properties aka Union Bay Estates Representative is at it Again

NOTE: Godfrey has never publicly disclosed he is a representative of KIP when sending in letters or distributing bullshit. Why? Why is he hiding this? He has no problem stating he is a former trustee to add weight to his bullshit.

KIP’s rep didn’t pass up the opportunity to do some PR on behalf of KIP this morning during a discussion on the Inukshuk. Convenient that he didn’t give credit to anyone else

March 2018 Landowners Update.

So it’s established that Godfrey has been KIP’s rep since at least June 2015, and here he is presenting a petition threatening legal action against the UBID trustees if they fail to allow KIP an extension to the 2011 Water Agreement which had expired Dec. 2014. So who was going to pay for this lawsuit that KIP’s rep was threatening?

Godfrey and his ilk never bothered to find out if the agreement could legally be extended. Turns out it couldn’t as advised by UBID’s counsel after Loxam, Jacques and Bitten voted to extend the 2011 agreement in Nov. 2016, two years after it had expired..

You will note above that Godfrey asks is it even legal for the community to present the petition to the board. Well, that’s funny because his petition demanding UBID give KIP an extension to the expired agreement was not legally possible. No one bothered to find out before once again spreading bullshit and dividing the community.

I hope Richard was not contacted by KIP spokesperson, David Godfrey on the developer’s behalf.

Union Bay – a community of marks willing to drink the kool aid served up by Kensington Island Properties, year after year.

The protest has been canceled due to a favourable response from the developer. WTF does that mean? Is the ‘favourable response’ top secret? Did this ‘favourable response’ include why this developer went ahead a year ago without any permits? Is that a developer that can be trusted?

Why is the developer hiding from the press? Why is the developer hiding from the landowners of Union Bay?

Is this ‘favourable response’ in writing? This developer has said a hell of a lot in the last 20 years that turned out to be absolute bullshit.

You can’t fix stupid.

Here’s what was posted. Richard: are you aware the developer cleared all those acres and extracted 3000 to 5000 tonnes without a permit? The developer still hasn’t applied for clearing that very property. What about those steep slopes? This is a developer that doesn’t care about you, or any of us because this developer would not have bothered applying at all if it hadn’t been for someone asking if there was a permit issued. Why did the developer only contact you when he has been hiding from the press?

Why can’t this developer ever face the community and also allow recording of the questions and answers? Gutless wonder.
