UPDATE: I spoke too soon. Looks like Jurisich came up with a whopping 5 pages with multiple pages of my blog to fatten the affidavit. This took him almost a year. Only posting the 5 pages, not all 58 pages of my blog and the Vancouver Sun article, etc. If you followed my blog you’ve seen them before. What a crock. Still hasn’t responded to the initial statement of claim – no mention of stealing the drone – how convenient.

I have a lot of comments to make on this case.

Here’s DWR’s response to our lawsuit. NOTE: To date Mark Jurisich who robbed me of my property (drone) on June 11, 2022, still has not provided an affidavit denying any of the facts stated in our lawsuit.

The law firm of Borden Ladner Gervais denied the facts on behalf of their client without providing any sworn affidavit from their client stating the denial. Then Borden Ladner Gervais countersued, again with nothing from Jurisich in writing.

Then Borden Ladner Gervais threw all kinds of legal vomit in an attempt to prevent the Protection of Public Participation Act application from proceeding.

Here we are almost 1 year later and Jurisich still hasn’t provided a sworn affidavit. The lawyers are the only ones denying the facts in my lawsuit. How is it that the lawyers can deny the facts and do everything to delay, delay, delay and yet the individual who robbed me has stayed silent?

The lawyers had to know what they were submitting to the court was not true. Read “C The DWR Defendants Deny Stealing the Drone.” Jurisich must have told them he returned the drone, so he obviously stole it to be in his possession. Claiming the drone was merely temporary out of my possession and promptly returned unharmed and that I accepted the return of the drone is absolute bullshit. How is this bullshit allowed to be submitted by an officer of the court without an sworn affidavit backing it up?

Where is it the RCMP told me not to fly over DWR? More bullshit. Does their lawyer ask them for proof before putting word to paper or is it normal practice to just include whatever ridiculous and/or false statements to the court as true and then do everything possible to prevent those actions from coming to light or be questioned? Is this why the courts are so backed up?

This is how concerned the police were about me and my drone. Note the date June 22, so DWR might have kept calling the police and must have been told at some point that I was not illegally flying a drone. I suspect Jurisich was told this very thing on June 15, 2022, by the officer who attended the DWR industrial site immediately after leaving my residence. Jurisich told the officer he wanted to file complaints against me. Police obviously never acted on those complaints because I am allowed to fly legally over the industrial site.
