Thanks to the landowner who forwarded me this email. Ole slick must know he’s going to be approved or else he’ll whine and cry about all the work and money spent WITHOUT permits if he’s turned down. How the Ministry can approve dumping anything into Hart/Washer Creek is just ridiculous and with no public input. Island Health has no regulatory oversight – so who’s going to monitor to ensure KIP abides by anything? I sure as hell hope it’s not on the honour system since that is absent with the sleazy developer who spews so much bullshit I had to start a blog to keep track.

KIP’s 1000 cubic metres of treated sewage will be dumped daily into Hart/Washer Creek Oct. through May at the train trestle. This is the path it will take to the ocean. Notice the lift station at the end – that’s where the sewage is pumped from.
