Although Kensington Island Properties had offered to make land available and help fund a new hall, the future of their project and the associated development fees are now in question. As such, the Trustees feel compelled to begin the process of investigating a community funded replacement for the fire hall.

Second last paragraph November 2006 Landowners Update

Announcing when Kevin Douville was hired and the wages and benefits as an employee of UBID. When the gong show majority of the board of trustees – Jacques, Loxam and Bitten completely ignored his advice publicly and treated him like shit – the guy who was overqualified for our dinky ID and was a pro 100% of the time resigned – then they hired a guy with zero government experience. No announcement about his salary, but I know it was more than Kevin was earning when he resigned. They hired an unprofessional, incompetent, insecure, puffed up little twerp who banked overtime learning one mistake after the other and never admit to making one. Those brainiacs didn’t want to pay the salary the other candidate, who was experienced and more than qualified. It cost us more and we ended up with shorter hours and lousy service. Closing the office from 12 to 1 and then taking his lunch from 1 to 2 – if he was even in that day. Tens of thousands paid for lousy performance and then suddenly he “resigns” – there one day and gone the next. I suspect he had incentive to leave willingly. Received a payout according to the contract those brainiacs gave him.
