Heyman, the camera hog, touting all the good work and cooperation with numerous First Nation Bands cleaning up the beaches and how it is so important – yet our beaches become a cesspool. We’re settling for lousy politicians – holding our noses and voting for the least offensive. We need major changes to our system.

The guy standing in front of you at the checkout might have just left work at DWR with his work clothes covered in asbestos – ready for you to breathe in all those little particles and not even realize it. Think of the Charlie Brown character Pigpen, who always had a cloud of yuck around him, except you can’t see the asbestos cloud. Why do you think families members of workers got sick along with the guys doing the filthy and dangerous work all the while inhaling this killer. They were covered in it and went home after a hard days work not knowing the deadly substance they were transporting into their homes and onto their beloved family members. Just because you can’t see it…
How can anyone trust the word of Mark Jurisich? I mean, look at the guy’s track record. After 3 years, he admits there is asbestos on the MF! Read his statements to the media and the fantasy claims in his countersuit against me. His lawyer was stuck defending all those goofy claims during the Protection of Public Participation Act Application. If Jurisich’s lips are moving… So, why is any level of gov’t so hesitant to take action when they have evidence/reports of their own and from the public? This is a guy who is determined to do what he came here to do and your elected representatives are going to sidestep and delay while toxins could be released into your environment. It doesn’t just go poof with the wind and magically be cleansed and safe.
This isn’t some little operation, it’s part of Ocean Logistics in Vanuatu. Google Robert Bohn in Vanuatu. A little country that has been abused and corrupted by greedy businessmen from other countries taking advantage of the native inhabitants.
This wasn’t some accident that DWR set up shop here – it was planned. The Miller Freeman and the Surveyor were already purchased before they purchased the existing property. Those ships were brought here specifically to be broken apart on the shores of Baynes Sound.
This is a foreign owned company, run by a thug of unknown origin. I view this company as a predator/danger that has the potential to cause irreparable harm to beautiful Baynes Sound.
