Hey, DWR doesn’t want liquid flowing down the asphalt surface clogging up the ‘filtration system’, so digging a ditch/trench diverting any runoff onto soil solves the problem. It’s already muddy from equipment churning it all up, and it eventually washes down into the ocean, nature taking over.
Liquid flows year round from that upper green barge, even though there are multiple ditches/trenches behind it. DWR does their best to keep liquid from heading down to that so called ‘filtration system’ and often places objects on the asphalt to deflect away from it.
Guess too much liquid was gathering in the hole and threatening to head down the asphalt to the ‘filtration system’, so – easy fix.
Can someone ask thug Jurisich what regulation is being abided by below?
