Does Fortis expect the public to believe their lawyers aren’t aware of the existence of the Protection of Public Participation Act of 2019. You’re bloody right they are aware, but choose to employ the slimy SLAPP suit tactics to achieve their goal of fear and intimidation and eventually silence.
Lawyers still using these tactics should be punished by the courts instead of being allowed to use what is supposed to be an honourable profession to inflict misery on those for simply voicing their opinions.
