I believed the CVRD when they kept telling landowners the reason why the case against DWR was not proceeding, after Examinations for Discovery were concluded, was due to the courts being backed up and the CVRD has been unable to secure a court date for the trial.

Well surprise, surprise. When asked – they refuse to even acknowledge receipt of the question. Absolute silence when given the example of what transpired in my lawsuit against DWR. The CVRD initiated their suit in Apr. 2022, mine was June 2022, with it being stalled due to the Protection of Public Participation Act application until Apr. 8/24.

It’s a gut punch when you believe these guys and then they pull this shit. Same thing when the CAO Bob Long told us Langley Lake wasn’t even on the table, wasn’t even considered as a water source for KIP. CVRD screwed us and made it the source. That’s why I get pissed off with this shit.
