One of the top 17 contaminated sites in British Columbia. Guess there’s no concern for all that coal dust being excavated. Look at the colour of the beach around the coal hill – all black as the ocean reclaims what was pushed out and built up from when coal was processed in Union Bay.

When KIP (ole slick) had those test wells, he said some areas the water came in 40 ft. Going to be interesting to see how they stop the erosion.

All those clam diggers out there – I wouldn’t eat anything harvested from that area.
