I’m going to start posting some of the excerpts of the UBID meetings over the years. Here’s the first one.

All the videos of the UBID – Union Bay Improvement District meetings are of poor video quality to keep the file size down. This is where all the recordings are of UBID https://www.youtube.com/@malcolm1nut NOTE: all the excerpts are unlisted on the Youtube channel and only display the full meetings. This was done so that I only emphasized excerpts on my blog where I was giving my take on the antics. That way anyone looking at the youtube channel only saw what transpired at those meetings and could form their own opinion.

That wasn’t good enough for Trustees Bitten, Jacques and Loxam. They produced a letter to the Board signed by a group of landowners who claimed I was “abusing the videos” and brainiac Trustee Bitten took it upon himself to force a motion through to “suspend a section of a bylaw” which granted the public the right to video record the meetings. Bitten claimed they were doing it to copyright the meetings. I kid you not – I’ll be posting that dilly. When I asked where they were going to host the meetings (because it’s not cheap) and if they put it on Youtube, it’s automatically there for anyone – no copyright. Trustee Bitten couldn’t answer at the time. Guess where the videos were posted -Youtube! Big surprise.

UBID recorded their own meetings – but that’s only when the Admin could figure out the Go Pro camera UBID purchased to record the meetings It became so difficult for the zero government experienced admin to figure out the camera, that UBID hired a guy to sit by the Go Pro camera and record the meetings. I was doing it for nothing – and more reliable.

This is an excerpt of the second gong show meeting. This was the Dec. 2016, which shows the disrespect towards the only qualified person at the table – Admin Kevin Douville – by Chair Jacques. This was the last meeting Kevin attended as he resigned and is now the top financial guy at the CVRD. The hissy fit and disrespect towards Trustee Kaljur is just mind boggling. The pro KIP trustees didn’t want the letter read out at the meeting claiming it wasn’t on the agenda. The Admin explains where it should appear on the agenda – nope – not happening. Jacques gets up and ends the meeting. Just the start of the Gong Show. Many episodes.
