Why does anyone believe this company cares about the environment. Look at all their actions/history, it’s all BS and never addresses the evidence. Instead, we’re supposed to accept what Jurisich must think is clever, that he disagrees with the Ministry of Environment findings, not just one, all of them!
There is something seriously wrong with someone who utilizes these tactics. It must work though because people are so easily sucked in – evidence be damned. They end up spouting the same bullshit they’ve been fed without bothering to verify – useful idiots. That’s how KIP aka Union Bay Estates was so successful – an army of useful idiots – and Union Bay suffered financially and as a community. Let’s not make the same mistake with Deep Water Recovery – this is foreign owned, filthy, polluting company owned by a bloody thug who doesn’t give a shit about anyone and counts on people repeating his bullshit.
Deep Water Recovery must have been coached by the VP of Kensington Island Properties aka Union Bay Estates, whose motto appeared to be “Do whatever you want and if/when you’re caught, just apply then and it will be rubber-stamped. Plus, you’ll probably only be caught 10% of the time.”
Only difference today was a couple of pieces of equipment have been moved. Didn’t see any work going on.
Pretty easy to see the fluid flowing freely into the ocean to the right of the so called “filtration system”. It’s been like this for as long as I’ve been flying over DWR. Thug Mark Jurisich claims they are not polluting.

That muddy fluid running by the “filtration system” (the 2 white rectangles bottom left) making the ocean the same muddy colour.

Thanks Mary, I’ll send my edited version draft to you prior to publication for review. I’d prefer to submit my edit of your work to your private email. I can be reached at otterpointstudio@gmail.com

Hi Keith. Yes, use whatever material of mine you want. My goal is to have as many people aware of what’s happened to Union Bay because of this sleazy developer. If you need any additional info, I’d be happy to provide it to you. I appreciate you taking an interest.
Mary.

Keith from The Islands Grapevine here. We are running a piece in our paper this week on the shipbreaking catastrophe.
I would like your permission to reprint your reporting on Union Bay Estates aka KIP, in an edited form. We are planning to have our paper in every mailbox from Fanny and Buckley Bays, to Union Bay, and your content would be very helpful. Of course, we’d include a link to the original material on your website. We currently go to 1500 households on Hornby and Denman Islands. We also intend to solicit Baynes Sound advertisers so we can pay for the ink, paper, and mailing. We’re donating the labour to print the extra circulation. This would also include posting these stories on our website with a link to your site.
Let me know what you think,
best,
Keith Porteous Associate Editor theislandsgrapevine.com
