McMahon never allowed recording of his meetings – now you know why. The few audio clips from the March 2016 KIP meeting were recorded by another landowner when I was refused the opportunity to record the meeting. Only a few video clips when he was whining/bullshitting/undermining the Union Bay Improvement District Board of Trustees and of course, the news conference announcing another new name, Union Bay Estates. Always very careful to control what the public had access to – easier to give quotes to the local paper.

Have to give McMahon credit though, he did actually install a sewage system – see bottom of post.

Audio of McMahon in 2016 claiming couldn’t proceed with Water Infrastructure Agreement due to coal hill remediation until Oct. 2014. Bullshit!

This is a post showing the lies spewed by VP Brian McMahon at his meeting Mar. 14/16, of the meeting in Dec. 2015, with Admin Kevin Douville, and UBID’s legal counsel along with the 2 consultants hired by UBID to negotiate a new Water Agreement. Listen to how easily the lies roll off McMahon’s tongue and then read the minutes of the meeting by Admin Kevin Douville. https://allthingsunionbay.com/2016/08/13/whos-telling-the-truth-kensington-island-properties-or-ubid-administrator-you-decide/

Trustees Jacques, Loxam and Bitten were invited to the press conference for the big announcement of Union Bay Estates. You know who wasn’t invited? Trustees Elliott and Kaljur – because they asked those pesky questions the pro KIP trustees couldn’t answer. They only knew what actions they were supposed to do, they didn’t know anything about the justification of their actions and that’s why every meeting was a gong show. When Elliott (the only trustee with actual water infrastructure experience) was up for reelection, the pro KIP trustees campaigned against him in favour of Ted Haraldson – JFC. Ted fell in line.

With tears in his eyes, he said, “Brian, I believe you’re the saviour of Union Bay. God bless you sir.” 🙂

Notice in the image below KIP includes the coal hill as parkland in the development – after violating the MDA by subdividing and dumping 27 contaminated acres back on the Province – us.

Notice the wording in the page above about wastewater in the MDA – “The wastewater treatment facility to be designed to accommodate additional cells to handle the sanitary sewer flow from Royston and Union Bay if those sewer systems are tied into the Union Bay Estates sewer system in the future.” Then the very next page advises KIP applied for a seasonal discharge for Phase I of the development into Hart/Washer Creek – WTF?

After decades, the one actual sewage system in the entire Union Bay Estates development:
