Guess thug Jurisich had to call in the big boss to try to put a positive spin on the filthy, polluting shitshow that is the unregulated ship breaking going on at the Deep Water Recovery ship breaking site. Ya, guess Bohn thinks Union Bay is a mini Vanuatu that he can take advantage of the uneducated/uninformed. C’mon, who in their right mind would believe anything these 2 foreigners state? Not a petty crime, a $100,000,000. crime – what about the victims? Jurisich has lied to the media over and over again. Give your head a shake if you’re that gullible.

Just what we need in Union Bay, a guy convicted of a $100,000,000 lottery scam writing to the media claiming the historical data from their site was already contaminated and their work isn’t contributing to any pollution. The problem is no one is disputing the site is contaminated, what the Ministry concluded is that the environment is at its limit and action must be taken to prevent any additional contamination/pollution.

If Bohn and Jurisich bought Union Bay Industries and the site was contaminated – how does that justify adding to the pollution. What happened to “buyer beware”? It’s not the citizens of Union Bay and Canada that are at fault if they made a bad purchase. Are we supposed to accommodate what these foreigners planned even if it adds to the contamination/pollution because of their bad investment?

The cost of dealing with the coal hill is roughly $20,000,000. to prevent it from being washed into the ocean and these foreigners think the coal hill contamination gives them free reign to continue ship breaking on bare soil.

Quote from Carla Conkin to The Discourse about Jurisich’s lame excuse.

“It’s runoff off of your ships. It’s effluent discharge coming out of your sumps. You own them. You’re responsible for them. If there’s some historical issue, you own it. You can go after former players if that’s the case but you’re responsible.”

Carla Conkin, a lawyer working with CCOBS, told The Discourse that Jurisich’s argument is not valid.

“Just because it’s an industrial area doesn’t mean it’s no holds barred,” she said.

Who are you going to believe – convicted felon Bohn, thug/robber Jurisich or the findings of the Ministry of Environment?
