A community destroyed by a slimy developer and each Regional District Board went along with the bullshit over and over, year after year. There were so many red flags with this pos developer over the decades and yet the RD insisted on going forward with a real slime ball.

They were determined to put this development through no matter what and refused to act in our best interest.

They are doing the same with the south sewer project – it was intended to guarantee the developer there would be sewage available for their bloody development. Has anyone been informed by Area A Director Arbour? Listen to why the sewer project has been pushed through. Video clip from March 2022.

This is what the CVRD seems to view as keeping landowners informed. Go hunting for the info because they sure as shit aren’t going to make an announcement to the landowners who voted for them. Ask Arbour a question and “he’ll pass it along to staff”, “he’ll get back to you”, “he’s copied another person at the CVRD” in his non answer response. Smiles and says so sincerely “I’m sorry I don’t have the answer but when I do, I will let you know.” Crickets since the November 2024 yearly meeting at Union Bay Community Hall.
