No doubt DWR is appealing the cancellation of the foreshore lease and probably have no intention of removing anything because that’s their MO – do whatever you want and if you get caught and are fined – appeal, appeal, appeal. Look how they dragged my Protection of Public Participation Act application over 2 years – the Act that is supposed to be heard promptly but these guys pulled every tactic to delay. They’ll come up with something to stall the trial scheduled for Oct. 14, 2025 in Vancouver because they are toast and they know it!
You will note the lease is with Union Bay Industries Ltd and they weren’t allowed to sublease to Deep Water Recovery so it should be interesting to see where DWR stands in appealing the cancellation when they should have never had it in the first place. Union Bay Industries is owned by convicted felon Robert Bohn Sr. and Mark Jurisich and Mark Jurisich owns Deep Water Recovery with one of Bohn’s sons out of Vanuatu.
