No DWR workers in a while now. No felon, no thug.
If they don’t clean up their shit, can the province seize their property to clean up after them? It would be great if the property was seized and turned into a park, never having to worry about foreign felons or their ilk setting up businesses and polluting in that spot ever again.
Should be interesting to see what their next steps are going to be. After shooting their mouth off about how the property is contaminated – who’s going to buy it? Plus, the 35 acre foreshore lease can no longer be included as a feature in the purchase since it’s cancelled. Trespassing if you step on the foreshore. I believe the lease is around $50k a year and you can be sure that particular lease is going to be scrutinized after this debacle.
