I would have been sol if I counted on the RCMP to actually investigate a crime and get justice. They not only screwed up the case but actually made matters worse because they became the protectors and errand boys to thug Jurisich. Remember he stated he made over 20 calls/complaints to the RCMP.
So did Const. Terragni speak to Terrance Ruttan and obtain a statement? Was this statement provided to Crown Counsel. How about a statement from Jurisich – anything from him included?
It sure as shit wouldn’t take a rookie to solve a crime when the victim provides video evidence of the theft, the identity of the thief and where he works. Witnesses available to determine and verify if a crime has been committed. No – that’s not the level of policing you should expect here in the Comox Valley.
If this is what passes off as good policing – we have a major problem. Time to make changes.
Imagine if this would have happened to one Const. Terragni’s friends. Do you think there would have been the same sloppy, unprofessional, uncaring actions? Not a chance!
Look how much investigating/questioning it took for Jason Gratl to get Terrance Ruttan to disclose Mark Jurisich stole my property (drone). Ruttan was examined before Jurisich.
Again, look how long it takes Jason to get answers and yet Const. Terragni is unable to conduct a successful interview/investigation.
