Had to edit. Theft under charges must be brought within 6 months. So again, thanks RCMP for advising in April 2023 no charges for a crime committed June 11/22. You ensured Jurisich was covered.

Jurisich stole my drone June 11/22, returned it June 14/22, confronted me again and followed me home on June 15/22 and then on June 22/22 he blocked my car in to prevent me from leaving. I called the RCMP and no one responded. After a more than 30 minutes – he and Ruttan left.

NOTE: The officer referred to the “Aeronautics Act” for his attempted enforcement of limiting my drone flying. When I asked if he could show me, he said he didn’t have it with him, asked him to send me a copy and he took my email address and no surprise – never heard from him again. FYI it’s the Transport Canada that regulates drones – any drone owner knows this. The officer was investigating a ‘mischief’ charge which comes under the Criminal Code of Canada and yet he indicates his authority arises from the Aeronautics Act.

Just another example of why believing what RCMP officers state is worth no more or factual from any ‘joe’ you meet on the street. Lost trust and credibility. There’s more to come.
