How is our ‘judicial system completely dysfunctional’? Simple – it’s not.

Jurisich stole my drone June 11/22, admitted it to the police, they told him to return it which he did under the cover of darkness – it was also damaged. Then he came at me again and followed me home. That was the last straw and I contacted Jason Gratl.

Jurisich was served with a lawsuit in late June 2022. Now he could have come clean then and admitted what he had done (already admitted to the police) and offer to make restitution. Instead, Mark Jurisich instructed his counsel at Borden Ladner Gervais to respond to our lawsuit and initiate a counter suit against me and had his counsel include all kinds of allegations that Mark Jurisich swore and signed an affidavit to submit to the courts.

When Jason Gratl filed the PPPA application, Mark Jurisich instructed his counsel to file an application that the PPPA did not apply in this case and applied to have it dismissed. They lost that application and then Mark Jurisich instructed his counsel to appeal the judges decision. Jurisich and DWR lost that appeal.

The PPPA application was finally heard and Justice Morley threw out the lion’s share of Jurisich’s and DWR’s counter suit. We were awarded costs of $165K which Jurisich instructed his counsel to dispute as he felt Jason’s bill was too high. Went before a Registrar who kept the exact figure Jason submitted.

Mark Jurisich had the opportunity in the last 3 years to have his counsel cross examine me for up to 7 hours to prove his allegations against me but Mark Jurisich instructed his counsel not to examine me.

Mark Jurisich instructed his counsel to pay me $40K and provide me with a written apology, admitting the theft and expressing regret for his subsequent interactions with me, assuring that it won’t happen again.

All of these instructions had to be given by Mark Jurisich to his counsel. He is not criticizing his counsel – he’s unhappy with the courts.

So what is it that he’s bitching about? What did he expect when he stole property and then strung out the case for 3 years all the while claiming in pleadings that he didn’t steal the drone?

The only failing in this case was for the RCMP not to charge Jurisich with the theft after I reported it and he admitted it to them.

Every report that paints DWR in a negative light, Jurisich refuses to believe it. They appeal everything.

I know he’s not the brightest but it looks like he might be catching on.

But the message he’s receiving is: “Don’t do business here,” he said.

I call major bullshit on this one. What contractors has DWR hired the first half of the year – zero -if there were any, what was the work that made it so profitable that DWR would spend $600K on hotels alone for those contractors? Was this (cough) arranged by your convicted felon money launderer partner? $600K in hotel bills? This Mickey Mouse operation run by ‘foot in mouth’ Jurisich isn’t fooling anyone. I love his quotes. Always so telling.

The company provides good-paying jobs and has spent $600,000 on hotels for contractors in the first half of this year alone, Jurisich said.
