Since June 21, 2018, we have been waiting for a report from the Water Superintendent to provide details as to how the water is monitored and the levels of turbidity that are in excess of what is standard across all of Canada since 2013.  Five years completely ignoring the rules and this is the best they can do – telling you that if the reading exceeds 1. NTU, contact will be made with the Drinking Water Officer.

Why don’t they explain the hazards of turbidity?  Bacteria attaches itself to the particles from the turbidity and chlorine has no effect on this bacteria.  So for the last five years the turbidity level has exceeded 1. NTU multiple times and absolutely nothing was done by this Water Superintendent.  For those with compromised immune systems – this is unacceptable.

It was Trustee Kaljur that brought this up at the June 21, 2018 meeting and the bullies on this board have consistently attempted to shut her up because they knew they were not abiding by the guidelines to provide SAFE POTABLE WATER to you.
