The recent announcement regarding KFN and the CVRD looking into sewage isn’t really new. KFN was also involved in the last failed attempt. Originally Cumberland was also involved but pulled out leaving less than 1000 landwners to fund the project. Originally it was to be financed over 20 years but then was changed to 30 years with the landowners expected to begin paying in 2017 without any assurances the project would actually proceed. So what’s new about this announcement? http://agendaminutes.comoxvalleyrd.ca/Agenda_minutes/CVRDCommittees/EASC/23-Nov-20/20201117%20Warren%20SR%20RUBSEP%20KFN%20Work%20Commitment.pdf

If you are interested in previous proposals, this one contains lots of information and is 121 pages from a CVRD Staff Report Sept 2010. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19IOd-g4cZtE5l2XrVPCDZoSkc6hLcXDq/view?usp=sharing KIP appears in this report but was absent in 2016 and no mention in the 2020 one so far.
Emphasis added by me.
