Did the KIP board consider future requirements when accepting the 4 acres to build a water treatment facility at the same elevation as the old waterworks?
KIP’s own consultants stated in order to service parts of KIP’s development at 94 m will require UBID’s water pressure to be a minimum HGL (hydraulic grade line) of 130. The old waterworks was HGL of 75 m.
So what is UBID’s HGL now with the new reservoir? Wanna bet it’s not 130?
This report is from 2008. A lot has changed since that time but pressure and HGL have not.

Thanks Alex! Never give up. 🙂
