Kip has been working behind Washer Rd. for a number of weeks and yet there is nothing on the CVRD website indicating work has been approved for this specific area. Image below is from CVRD https://www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/projects-initiatives/past-current-projects/union-bay-estates and each development permit refers to specific areas.

Maybe KIP changed the location of the wastewater treatment plant. Here’s what KIP submitted in their application to dump 1000 cubic metres of treated sewage into Hart/Washer Creek from Oct. through May with the plant being up near the log home on the 4 lanes – also supposedly the new Fire Hall.

Lots of trucks hauling from the gravel pit down behind Washer Rd. Sure looks like something permanent.
