McMahon on coal hill: “A cesspool of contaminants.”

Wading into the ocean on a hot summer day – better be careful as no one knows what’s being discharged at DWR. We know the contaminants leaching out of the coal hills because it’s been studied. I wouldn’t trust thug and robber Mark Jurisich to care about what he dumps into the ocean as he’s shown he plays by his own environmental standards.

You going to wander down from your waterfront home to dip your babies in water that could possibly be a toxic soup? Have friends and relatives come over and take a dip at their own risk?

How long before Deep Water Recovery ends up like this if they are not stopped now?

Look how close those people will be living to no regs ship breaking. KIP is expecting people to pay top dollar to live there? The two sleazy companies are good buddies and neighbours. They are screwing Union Bay. KIP wants an exemption to build on the flood plain.
This is KIP’s northern lot that butts up agains DWR – whatever goes on at DWR is going to have an impact on those wealthy folks putting out huge sums of money for a waterfront lot smack in the middle of a soup of chemicals coming from both sided.
This pic is from when KIP moved the contaminated soil from the area north of Washer/Hart Creek and put it in piles near the ocean on the section of land he plans on building his ‘Discovery Centre’ – trouble is it’s in the flood plain and he wants an exemption. So what happens to the suckers who buy and the it turns out those preventative measure were all for naught and KIP is long gone? Look at those lovely black coal beaches. Doesn’t that make you want to strip down and wade in and then come back and lay down on it? 🙂
