What was gained? The difference in the building cost of containing 2 DAF plants. Almost all parkland promised. 1 hectare for Fire Hall which the UBID Jacques Board negotiated down from 4 acres. That’s it.

Jacques Board actively campaigned against Jim Elliott when he ran for Area A Director because Jim and Susanna didn’t kiss KIP’s ass. McMahon couldn’t have someone knowledgable as Area A Director so he had his idiots push for Daniel Arbour who was easily manipulated by McMahon.

McMahon was able to con every Regional District Board since arriving on our doorstep. Even after knowing UBE was in financial problems the last few years, the CVRD still entertained KIP’s application for a temporary wastewater treatment plant. The CVRD has f*cked up even after renegotiating the MDA in Dec. 2017 – it provided no more assurance than the 2010 MDA did. They were led around by the nose for decades.
