If Arbour wanted everyone in Union Bay to be aware of the information he provides then he needs to stop relying on bloody Facebook to inform the landowners. In case you are unaware the Union Bay Bulletin Board is private and run by Bitten – ya the same family so only approved hillbillies and newcomers unaware of the shit that’s gone down are allowed. Same with Craigdarroch Facebook – it’s private so either Arbour isn’t very bright or doing a piss poor job knowing he’s not reaching everyone.

I love how he talks about connecting with people in Union Bay all the time – see that’s what he doesn’t get. It’s useless if you’re providing information to individuals and not anyone else. If I know something, I want everyone to know and that is not what’s happening with Arbour. If Arbour fails to video record the meeting, he is confirming that he intentionally keeps information from all landowners because there is no way in hell people can remember everything that was said.

It’s 2026 and we have an elected official that is finding it difficult to record his own town hall – that’s just 100% bullshit.

I predict another same old bullshit – no information – just wait and he’ll tell us when he can. I started asking him if he had video recorded any meetings in Union Bay since Nov. 2024.

This is the email he sent me Nov. 7/24 when I questioned why he doesn’t record the meetings so everyone is aware of the information provided.

I started asking Arbour on Jan. 19/26 if he was going to video record the Feb. town hall meeting and this is his self evaluation on his performance. I must have hurt Daniel’s feelings because he refused to answer if he was going to record.

So Arbour compares himself to what other Directors do. Tell me, what other area is in dire financial situation? What other community had to be given $600K towards a new Fire Hall? Isn’t that an indicator of major problems and to top it off we have the bloody ship breaking and Arbour and the CVRD are slow walking the case. They are wasting time and money on nothing. Then we have the KIP/UBE fiasco and not a peep of information from Arbour. They entertained KIP/McMahon even after knowing they were in financial distress.

  • What’s the plan – has the land been purchased?
  • Is the old MDA still valid?
  • What happens to the park land east of the highway that was supposed to be turned over and was delayed because the area needs to be remediated?
  • What happens to the Water Agreement with UBID and KIP/UBE?
  • Who pays for the second DAF plant?
