So now it’s a maximum of 1000 cubic metres instead of 1875 a DAY.
A landowner had told me the cubic metres were reduced when Kip put in the application after the Ministry found the original application DEFICIENT. The original application was made in 2019. I asked Melanie Mamoser and she responded with the following email.
Sent Melanie a followup question and received this prompt reply:
This is a page from the original application package. NOTE: the section I emphasized initial phase 500 connections and the potential to expand. Again, does the CVRD want to own a sewage system that is pumping treated sewage into Hart Creek? When speaking about KIP’s application, the CVRD stated it’s only 38 strata lots – ya, but KIP is requesting a hell of a lot more than 38 connections in the first phase.
