Was told I couldn’t record the meeting so the following is from memory.  Someone told me they had an audio recording and I’ll borrow it to listen and confirm my statements if their audio is good quality.

Brian McMahan, VP of KIP told the crowd when he and his lawyer attended the scheduled December 2015, the Trustees were not present so he said he left as there was no point if the Trustees didn’t even bother to show up.  A Trustee stood at the meeting and explained the Board members do not negotiate matters such as this and professional negotiators had been hired to represent UBID and attended the meeting.

It’s certainly understandable that a developer would rather negotiate with a Trustee who hasn’t got a clue as to what is involved in negotiating a complex legal document.  It’s a win for the developer and that’s exactly what happened in 2011.  Two Trustees took credit for the $1.4 Million dollar gift to the community which we now have confirmed is not a gift as it is an upfront payment of Development Cost Charges of $8,900. per lot which the folks who built homes in Union Bay the last few years on empty lots would have paid.   They can’t claim it was a gift.

Does anyone honestly believe what is being spewed by the rep of 34083 Yukon Inc.?  How many answers did he provide that were accurate and how many did he simply not answer.  Much of the time was spent with his usual poor me wanting to tell a disjointed story that basically said nothing.

The people that believe what he stated about using an aquifer are just brain dead after Mr. Cherry from VIHA spoke concerning the fact 34083 Yukon cannot use an aquifer to supply water.
