I believe this letter from April 10, 2007, refers to the very piece of land the UBID Board attempted to acquire a couple of years ago for a permanent water treatment facility until KIP interfered with the First Nations opposing the application as a result.
More proof there has never been any property within the KIP development identified as suitable for a permanent water treatment facility. It’s financially irresponsible to sentence the community to a permanent water facility that has to use holding tanks and pumps.
